FILE STRUCTURE

The STRU command is followed by a single Telnet character specifying the file structure being viewed. This command is now rarely used as nearly all clients detect this upon connection and nearly all servers are for and use a FILE Structure.

The following codes are assigned for structure:

• F - File (no record structure)
• R - Record structure
• P - Page structure

The default structure is File.
